எமது அறக்கட்டளையினூடாக கனடாவைச் சேர்ந்த திரு.கோபால் பகீரதன் அவர்களின் அனுசரணையுடன் இளைஞர்களின் மாற்றத்திற்கான வலுவூட்டல் என்னும் தொனிப்பொருளில் ‘மாதம் ஒரு களம்’ எனும் செயற்பாடானது எமது விவேகானந்த தொழிநுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியால் மாதாந்தம் நடைமுறைப்படுத்தப்படுகின்றது.
அதனடிப்படையில், மண்முனை தென் எருவில் பற்று பிரதேச செயலகத்தின் கீழ் இயங்கும் மாதர் அபிவிருத்தி சங்கத்தின் பயிற்சி நிலையத்தில் பயிலும் 20 பெண்களுக்கான விசேட தொழிற்திறன் மேம்பாட்டு பயிற்சி செயலமர்வானது மாதர் அபிவிருத்தி உத்தியோகத்தரின் ஒழுங்கமைப்பின் கீழ் விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியின் வளவாளர்களும் இணைந்து சிறப்பாக மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டது.
பயிற்சியின் பின்னரான சுயதொழில் மற்றும் தொழில்வாய்ப்பினை பெறத்தக்க வழிகாட்டலுடன் பயிற்சியின் முக்கியத்துவம் பற்றிய தெளிவூட்டல் வழங்கப்பட்டதோடு, அவர்களின் உற்பத்திகளை சந்தைப்படுத்த பொது சந்தைகளில் விற்பனை செய்வது, சமூக வலைத்தளங்கள் மூலம் விளம்பரம் செய்வது, சுயதொழில் ஆரம்பிப்பதற்கான செயன்முறைகள், அதற்கான விசேட திறன்கள் பற்றிய விளக்கங்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டது.
அத்துடன் சுயதொழில் மூலம் எவ்வாறு ஒருவர் தொழில்முனைவராக மாற்றமடைகின்றார் என்பது போன்ற முக்கியமான விடயங்களும் எடுத்துரைக்கப்பட்டது.
இதற்கு மேலதிகமாக சமூக வலைத்தளங்களினை பயன்படுத்தும்போது ஏற்படக்கூடிய பாதிப்புக்கள் மற்றும் அதற்கான பாதுகாப்பு முறைகளை பின்பற்றல், தொழில்நுட்ப சாதனங்களினால் ஏற்படும் பாதிப்புக்கள் பற்றிய தெளிவூட்டலும் வழங்கப்பட்டது.

Empowering Women through Skills Development & Self Employment
Through Vivekananda Community Foundation, with the support of Mr. Gopal Paheerathan from Canada, the ‘Maatham oru Kalam ’ initiative focusing on youth empowerment for Transformation is being conducted monthly by Vivekananda College of Technology.
As part of this, a special skills development training session was successfully conducted for 20 women studying at the Women’s Development Society Training Center under the Manmunai South Eruvilpattu Divisional Secretariat.
The session was organized by the Women Development Officer and facilitated by trainers from Vivekananda College of Technology.
The training included guidance on self-employment and job opportunities, along with insights into selling their products in public markets, advertising through social media, steps to start a self-employment business, and essential skills for entrepreneurship.
Additionally, the session covered the safe use of social media, potential risks of digital technology, and protective measures.
