இளைஞர்களின் மாற்றத்திற்கான வலுவூட்டலுக்காக ஒரு செயற்பாடாக மாதாந்தம் நடைமுறைப்படுத்தப்படுகின்ற ‘மாதம் ஒரு களம்’ எனும் செயற்பாடானது எமது விவேகானந்த சமுதாய அறக்கட்டளையின் ஒருங்கிணைப்பில் விவேகானந்த தொழிநுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியால் மாதாந்தம் முன்னெடுக்கப்படுகின்றது.

அதனடிப்படையில், ஏறாவூர் பற்று பிரதேச செயலகப்பிரிவிற்குட்பட்ட தளவாய் பிரதேசத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள தளவாய் விக்னேஸ்வரா வித்தியாலயத்தில் பாடசாலை அதிபரின் ஒழுங்கமைப்பின் கீழ் பாடசாலைக் கல்வியை இடைநிறுத்திய 15 மாணவர்களுக்கான விழிப்புணர்வுச் செயலமர்வானது விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியின் வளவாளர்களும் இணைந்து சிறப்பாக மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டது.

NVQ தொழிற்கல்வி முறைமையின் கீழ் தொழில் ஒன்றைப் பெறத்தக்க வழிகாட்டலுடன் தொழிற்கல்வியின் முக்கியத்துவம் பற்றிய தெளிவூட்டல் வழங்கப்பட்டதோடு, அவர்களின் குறிக்கோளை அடைவதற்கான செயன்முறைகள், அதற்கான விசேட திறன்கள் உள்ளடங்கலாக வாழ்க்கைத்திறன் பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வும் வழங்கப்பட்டது.

அவ்வாறே, பாடசாலையை இடைவிலகியிருந்தாலும் தொழிற்கல்வியைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்வதன் அவசியம் பற்றி மாணவர்களின் பெற்றோருக்கு எடுத்துரைக்கப்பட்டது.

A New Hope for School Dropouts

Through Vocational Education The “Maatham Oru Kalam” program is organized every month by the Vivekananda Community Foundation in partnership with Vivekananda College of Technology to empower youth.

As part of this program, an awareness session was conducted for 15 students who had dropped out of school at Thalavai Vigneswara Vidyalayam in the Thalavai area under the Eravur Pattu Divisional Secretariat. The session was arranged by the school principal with the support of trainers from Vivekananda College of Technology.

The session explained how students can get jobs through the NVQ vocational education system and why vocational education is important. It also gave guidance on career planning, special skills, and life skills. Parents were also informed about the need for vocational education for students who had left school.
