இளைஞர்களின் மாற்றத்திற்கான வலுவூட்டல் என்னும் தொனிப்பொருளில் எமது விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியினூடாக நாம் இளைஞர் யுவதிகளை வலுப்படுத்தும் வண்ணம் பல்வேறு செயற்பாடுகளை முன்னெடுத்து வருகின்றோம்.
அந்த வகையில், பின்தள்ளப்பட்ட பிரதேசங்கள் மற்றும் வறுமைக்கோட்டிற்கு கீழான எல்லைப் பிரதேசங்களை மையப்படுத்தி சமுதாயக் கல்லூரிகளை நாம் உருவாக்கி அப்பிரதேசத்தின் மாணவர்களுக்கான Office Managment & IT மற்றும் ஆங்கிலப் பயிற்சிகளை முன்னெடுத்து வருகின்றோம்.
அதனடிப்படையில் மனித நேய நம்பிக்கை நிதியத்தின் அனுசரணையில் எமது விவேகானந்த சமுதாய அறக்கட்டளையினூடாக விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியால் மட்டக்களப்பு மேற்கு கல்வி வலயத்துடன் இணைந்து நடைமுறைப்படுத்தப்படும் கரடியனாறு மனித நேயம் சமுதாயக் கல்லூரியில் பயிலும் மாணவர்களுக்கான சான்றிதழ் வழங்கும் நிகழ்வு கரடியனாறு சமுதாயக் கல்லூரியில் இடம்பெற்றது.
எமது விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியின் நிறைவேற்றுப் பணிப்பாளர் திரு.க.பிரதீஸ்வரன் அவர்களின் தலைமையில் இடம்பெற்ற இந்நிகழ்வில் மட்டக்களப்பு மேற்கு வலயக்கல்விப் பணிப்பாளர் திரு.Y.ஜெயச்சந்திரன், மட்டக்களப்பு மேற்கு கல்வி வலயத்தின் பிரதிக் கல்விப் பணிப்பாளர் திரு.Y.C.சஜீவன், கரடியனாறு இந்து வித்தியாலய அதிபர் திரு.உதயச்சந்திரன், உன்னிச்சை 8ம் மைல் கல் பாடசாலை அதிபர் திரு.T.விநாயகமூர்த்தி, மரப்பாலம் சீயோன் சிறுவர் அபிவிருத்தி நிலைய உத்தியோகஸ்தர்கள் உள்ளடங்கலாக விவேகானந்த குடும்பத்தின் சேவையாளர்களும் கலந்து கொண்டு சிறப்பித்தமை குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
Office management & IT மற்றும் ஆங்கிலப் பயிற்சிகளைப் பூர்த்தி செய்த மாணவர்களுக்கான சான்றிதழ்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டதோடு AU Lanka நிறுவனத்துடன் இணைந்து சுற்றாடல் தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு நடாத்தப்பட்ட நாடகப் போட்டியில் வெற்றியீட்டிய மாணவர்களும் சான்றிதழ் வழங்கி கௌரவிக்கப்பட்டனர்.
அவ்வாறே, மட்டக்களப்பு மேற்கு வலயக் கல்விப் பணிப்பாளர் திரு.Y.ஜெயச்சந்திரன் அவர்கள் கல்வித்துறையில் ஆற்றிய அளப்பரிய சேவையைப் பாராட்டியும் தற்போது பதவியுயர்வு பெற்று வடமாகாண கல்விப்பணிப்பாளராக பதவியேற்கவிருப்பதற்காகவும் எமது விவேகானந்த குடும்பத்தினரால் நினைவுச்சின்னம் வழங்கி கௌரவிக்கப்பட்டமை சிறப்பானதாகும்.
VCOT சமுதாய கல்லூரி முறையிலான இவ்வாறான செயற்பாடுகளை தேவைப்பாடுடைய பிரதேசங்களில் முன்னெடுப்பதன் மூலம் இளைஞர்கள், யுவதிகளை அடையாளப்படுத்துவதோடு மட்டுமன்றி அவர்களின் எதிர்காலத்திற்கான சிறந்த வழிகாட்டலாகவும் அமையும் என்பதில் ஐயமில்லை. ஆசிரியவளம் மற்றும் பௌதீக வளம் குறைந்து காணப்படும் மட்டக்களப்பு மேற்கு கல்வி வலயத்துடன் இணைந்த இந்த சேவை தொடர்ச்சியாக மாணவர்களிற்கான வாழ்வியல் வழிகாட்டலுடன் அவர்களிற்கு தேவையான தொழில்பயிசிகள் மற்றும் அதற்கான இணைப்புக்களை மேற்கொள்வதுடன் தேவைக்கேற்ற அடிப்படையான பயிற்சிகளை பயிற்சி பட்டறைகளை தொடர்ந்து வழங்கவிருக்கின்றது.
இச்செயற்பாட்டிற்காக எம்முடன் இணைந்து பயணிக்கும் மனித நேய நம்பிக்கை நிதியத்தினருக்கு எமது நன்றிகளைத் தெரிவித்துக்கொள்வதில் நாம் பெருமிதம் கொள்கின்றோம்.
Towards Social Transformation through Community Colleges
Under the theme of empowering youth for transformational change, our Vivekananda College of Technology has been continuously implementing various initiatives aimed at strengthening young men and women.
As part of this effort, we have established Community Colleges targeting marginalized and economically underprivileged border areas. Through these colleges, we offer training in Office Management & IT and English Language Skills to the students of these regions.
Accordingly, with the support of the Humanitarian Trust Fund, and through the Vivekananda Community Foundation, the Karadiyanaru Humanitarian Community College, operated by Vivekananda Technical College in collaboration with the Batticaloa West Zonal Education Office, held its Certificate Awarding Ceremony at the Karadiyanaru Community College.
This event, held under the leadership of Mr. K. Pratheeswaran, Executive Director of Vivekananda Technical College, was graced by Mr. Y. Jeyachandran, Zonal Director of Education – Batticaloa West, Mr. Y.C. Sajeevan, Assistant Director of Education – Batticaloa West, Mr. Udayachandran, Principal – Karadiyanaru Hindu Vidyalaya, Mr. T. Vinayagamurthy, Principal – Unnichchai 8th Milekal School, and representatives from the Marappalam Zion Children’s Development Centre, alongside committed members of the Vivekananda family.
Certificates were presented to students who successfully completed the Office Management & IT and English Language courses. In addition, students who excelled in a drama competition conducted in partnership with AU Lanka in celebration of Environment Day were also honored with certificates of recognition.
Notably, Mr. Y. Jeyachandran, Zonal Director of Education – Batticaloa West, was honored with a memento by the Vivekananda family in appreciation of his exceptional contributions to the education sector and to mark his upcoming promotion as the Provincial Director of Education – Northern Province.
Through the VCOT College of Technology model, these kinds of targeted interventions not only identify and uplift youth in need but also serve as vital guidance for their future. Despite limited human and physical resources in the Batticaloa West education zone, we remain committed to offering continuous life-skills coaching, job-oriented technical training, and essential career-linkage programs.
