ஒரு மாணவனின் கல்வியே…. ஒரு சமூகத்தின் எதிர்காலம் !
எமது விவேகானந்த சமுதாய அறக்கட்டளையியினூடாக மாதிரி கிராமமாக தெரிவுசெய்யப்பட்ட மாவிலங்கத்துறை கிராமத்தில் கடந்த 4 வருடங்களாக எமது செயற்பாடுகள் தேவைப்பாட்டின் அடிப்படையில் முன்னெடுக்கப்பட்டு வருகின்றது. அந்தவகையில் மாவிலங்கத்துறை விக்னேஸ்வரா வித்தியாலயத்தில் பயிலும் தரம் 2 முதல் 11 வரையான மாணவர்களுக்கு பாடசாலை முடிவடைந்த பின்னர் நடைமுறைப்படுத்தப்பட்டு வரும் ஆங்கிலம் மற்றும் சிங்கள பாடங்களுக்கான மாலை நேர வகுப்புக்களில் எமது அறக்கட்டளையின் புலம்பெயர் உறவுகளின் அனுசரணையுடன் ஆங்கில வகுப்புக்கள் முன்னெடுக்கப்பட்டு வரும் நிலையில் சிங்கள வகுப்பிற்கான ஆசிரியர் கொடுப்பனவு மற்றும் இதர செலவுகள் தேவையாகவுள்ளது.
அடிப்படை வசதிகள் இல்லாத இப்பிரதேசத்திலும் இம்மாணவர்கள் சிறு வயதிலேயே சிங்கள மொழியிலும் புலமை பெற்றவர்களாக திகழ்வது குறிப்பிடத்தக்க விடயமாகும். அதனடிப்படையில் பின்தங்கிய மற்றும் வளங்கள் குறைந்த இப்பிரதேசத்தில் எதிர்கால சந்ததியின் கல்வி மற்றும் மொழித்திறனைக் கருத்திற்கொண்டு ஆலய நிர்வாகம் மற்றும் சக சமூக அமைப்புக்களின் முயற்சியினால் நடாத்தப்பட்டு வரும் இவ்வகுப்பிற்கு தங்களால் வழங்கப்படும் அனுசரணையின் மூலம் இக்கிராமத்தில் மாணவர்களின் முன்னேற்றம் மாத்திரமல்லாது தனிப்பட்ட ரீதியில் அம் மாணவர்களின் ஆளுமை விருத்திக்கும் சுய மேம்பாட்டிற்கும் பங்களிப்பு செய்வதாக அமையும்.

A Student’s Education… A Community’s Future
Through the Vivekananda Community Foundation, various activities have been carried out over the past four years in Mavilangathurai Village, which was selected as a Model Village, based on the needs of the community. In this regard, evening classes in English and Sinhala have been conducted after school hours for students from Grade 2 to Grade 11 at Mavilangathurai Vigneswara Vidyalayam. While the English classes are currently being conducted with the support of our overseas donors, sponsorship is needed to cover the teacher’s allowance and other expenses for the Sinhala classes.
It is noteworthy that, despite the lack of basic facilities in this area, these students are developing proficiency in the Sinhala language from a young age. Considering the importance of education and language skills for the future generation in this underprivileged and resource-limited community, your support towards these classes, which are being conducted through the efforts of the temple administration and other community organizations, will contribute not only to the educational progress of the students in this village but also to their individual personality development and self-improvement.
