மாவிலங்கத்துறை மாணவர்களுக்கான சீருடைகள்

விவேகானந்த சமுதாய அறக்கட்டளையானது பின்தங்கிய கிராமப் பிரதேசங்களில் வாழும் மற்றும் கற்றலில் ஆர்வமுள்ள, வறுமை கோட்டிற்குக் கீழ் வாழும் மாணவர்களுக்கு எமது புலம்பெயர் உறவுகளின் உதவியுடன், சமூக மாற்றத்திற்கான பல்வேறு செயற்பாடுகளை மேற்கொண்டு வருகின்றது. அந்தவகையில் எமது செயற்பாட்டின் ஒரு பகுதியாக மாவிலங்கத்துறை எனும் கிராமத்தை தெரிவுசெய்து அவர்களுக்கான செயற்பாடுகள், இளைஞர்களுக்கான தலைமைத்துவப் பயிற்சிகள் உள்ளிட்ட மாணவர்களுக்கான பிரத்தியேக வகுப்புக்களையும் முன்னெடுத்து வருகின்றது.

அதனடிப்படையில், மாவிலங்கத்துறையில் பயிலும் தரம் 6 முதல் 10 வரையிலான மாணவர்களுக்கு ஆங்கில மற்றும் சிங்கள வகுப்புக்களை கடந்த ஒரு வருட காலமாக முன்னெடுத்து வரும் அதேவேளை அம்மாணவர்களுக்கான அடையாள அட்டை, கற்றல் உபகரணங்களையும் வழங்கியிருந்தோம். அந்தவகையில் தற்போது அவர்களிடமிருந்து கிடைக்கப்பெற்ற கோரிக்கைக்கமைவாக திரு.ராஜரெட்ணம் ஜீவகன் அவர்களின் அனுசரணையில் 24 மாணவர்களுக்கான சீருடைகள் வழங்கிவைக்கப்பட்டது.

விவேகானந்த சமுதாய அறக்கட்டளையின் நிறைவேற்றுப்பணிப்பாளர்.திரு.பிரதீஸ்வரன் அவர்களின் தலைமையில் நடைபெற்ற இந்நிகழ்வில் மாவிலங்கத்துறை கிராம சமூக நலன்புரிச் சங்க ஸ்தாபகர்.திரு.காசிநாதன், சமூக நலன்புரிச் சங்க தலைவர் செயலாளர், பொருளாளர், போசகர் மற்றும் ஸ்ரீ சித்தி விநாயகர் ஐயனார் ஸ்ரீ படபத்திரகாளியம்மன் ஆலய பரிபாலன சபையினர், அறக்கட்டளையின் சேவையாளர்கள் மற்றும் மாவிலங்கத்துறையில் பயிலும் மாணவர்களும் கலந்து சிறப்பித்ததுடன் மாணவர்கள் கல்லூரியின் செயற்பாடுகளையும் பார்வையிட்டதோடு வெளிக்கள செயற்பாடுகளிலும் கலந்துகொண்டனர்.

திரு.ராஜரெட்ணம் ஜீவகன் அவர்களின் மகளின் பிறந்த தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு சீருடைகளுக்கான அனுசரணையை வழங்குவதற்கு முன்வந்தமைக்கு திரு.ராஜரெட்ணம் ஜீவகன் அவர்களுக்கு எமது நன்றிகளைத் தெரிவித்துக்கொள்கின்றோம்.

Uniforms for Mavilangathurai Students

The Vivekananda Community Foundation has been carrying out various activities aimed at social transformation, with the support of our expatriate community, for students living in underprivileged rural areas who are eager to learn and are below the poverty line. As part of this initiative, we selected the village of Mavilangathurai and have been conducting activities for them, including leadership training programs for youth and special classes for students.

Accordingly, for the past year, we have been conducting English and Sinhala classes for students studying from Grade 6 to Grade 10 in Mavilangathurai. During this period, we also provided them with identity cards and learning materials. Based on a recent request from the students, uniforms were distributed to 24 students with the sponsorship of Mr.Rajaretnam Jeevagan, Canada.

This event was held under the leadership of Mr. Pratheeswaran, Executive Director of the Vivekananda Community Foundation. The founder of the Mavilangathurai Village Social Welfare Society, Mr. Kasinathan, along with the society’s president, secretary, treasurer, patrons, members of the Sri Siddhi Vinayagar Ayyanar Sri Padapathirakaliyamman Temple management committee, foundation volunteers, and students from Mavilangathurai, participated in the event. The students also observed school activities and took part in outdoor programs & Games.
