வறுமை கல்விக்கு தடையாகி விடக்கூடாது

வறுமை கல்விக்கு தடையாகி விடக்கூடாது என்னும் எண்ணக்கருவின் அடிப்படையில்,
பின்தங்கிய கிராமப் பிரதேசங்களில் வாழும் மற்றும் வறுமை கோட்டிற்குக் கீழ் வாழும் தேவைப்பாடுடைய மாணவர்களை மையப்படுத்தி புலம்பெயர் உறவுகளின் உதவியுடன் வருடாந்தம் மாணவர்களுக்கான கற்றல் உபகரணங்களை அவர்களின் கோரிக்கைக்கமைவாக வழங்கி வருகின்றோம்.

அதனடிப்படையில், பதுளை மாவட்டத்திற்கு களவிஜயம் மேற்கொண்டு சென்/ஜேம்ஸ் தமிழ் மகா வித்தியாலயத்தில் பயிலும் மாணவர்களுக்கான வாழ்வியல் பயிற்சிகளும் எமது குழுவினரால் முன்னெடுக்கப்பட்டதோடு 40 மாணவர்களுக்கான கற்றல் உபகரணங்களும் வழங்கிவைக்கப்பட்டது.

சென்/ஜேம்ஸ் தமிழ் மகா வித்தியாலய அதிபரின் தலைமையில் நடைபெற்ற இந்நிகழ்வில் எமது நிறைவேற்றுப் பணிப்பாளர் திரு.க.பிரதீஸ்வரன், விவேகானந்த தெழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியின் முதல்வர் திரு.சந்திரசேகரம், பயிற்சி முகாமையாளர் திரு.சார்ள்ஸ் கிறேசியன் உள்ளிட்ட குழுவினர் கலந்துகொண்டதுடன் பாடசாலையின் ஆசிரியர்களும் மாணவர்களும் கலந்துகொண்டு தமக்கான கற்றல் உபகரணங்களையும் பெற்றுக்கொண்டனர்.

இச்செயற்பாட்டிற்காக, எமது அறக்கட்டளையினூடாக அனுசரணையை வழங்கிய Old Boys of St/Johns College, Jaffna, C/O V4U London குழுவினருக்கு நன்றியைத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்வதில் எமது விவேகானந்த சமுதாய அறக்கட்டளை நிறுவனமானது மிகவும் பெருமிதம் அடைகின்றது.

பொருளாதார ரீதியாகப் பின்தங்கிய குடும்பங்களைச் சேர்ந்த மாணவர்களின் கல்விப் பயணத்தை ஊக்குவிப்பதுடன் மட்டுமல்லாது அவர்களுக்குத் தேவையான கற்றல் வளங்களை வருடாந்தம் வழங்குவதன் மூலம் அவர்களைக் கல்வியில் தொடர்ச்சியாக ஈடுபட வழிவகை செய்வதே எமது நோக்கமாகும்.

Poverty should not become a barrier to education

Based on the belief that poverty should not become a barrier to education, we annually provide learning materials requested by schools, with the support of expatriate donors, focusing on needy students living in underprivileged rural areas and below the poverty line.

Accordingly, a field visit was carried out to the Badulla District, where our team conducted life skills training programmes for the students studying at St. James Tamil Maha Vidyalayam and distributed learning materials to 40 students.

The event was held under the leadership of the Principal of St. James Tamil Maha Vidyalayam and was attended by our Executive Director Mr. K. Pratheeswaran, the Principal of Vivekananda College of Technology Mr. Chandrasekaram, Training Manager Mr. Charles Gracian, along with other team members. Teachers and students of the school also participated and received their learning materials.

Our objective is not only to encourage the educational journey of students from economically disadvantaged families but also to enable them to remain continuously engaged in education by providing the learning resources they need on an annual basis.
