கல்விப் பயணத்திற்கு நிலையான அர்ப்பணிப்பு

விவேகானந்த சமுதாய அறக்கட்டளையினூடாக தமது செயற்பாடுகளை முன்னெடுத்து வரும் புலம்பெயர் உறவுகள் வரிசையில் எமது நீண்டகால நன்கொடையாளராக எமது பல்வேறு திட்டங்களுக்கும் பங்களிப்பை வழங்கி வரும் அமெரிக்காவைச் சேர்ந்த திரு.எஸ்.லோகேந்திரா அவர்கள்

எமது ஆரம்ப காலம் முதல் முல்லைத்தீவில் அமைந்துள்ள அன்னை ஸ்ரீ சாரதா நிலையத்தில் பயிலும் 60 மாணவிகளுக்கு விசேட மதிய உணவு வழங்கி வந்த நிலையில் அதன் பின்னர் வறுமைக்கோட்டின் கீழ் வாழும் குடும்பங்களைச் சேர்ந்த பாடசாலை மாணவர்களுக்கு மாதாந்த ஊக்குவிப்புத் தொகை வழங்கும் செயற்பாட்டிலும் இணைந்து கொண்டார். அன்னை ஸ்ரீ சாரதா நிலையத்தில் உயர்தரம் பயிலும் 8 மாணவிகளுக்கும் அவர்களது பாடசாலைக்கல்வி முடிவடையும் வரை மாதாந்த ஊக்குவிப்புத் தொகை வழங்கியதோடு அதன் பின்னர் மேலும் 5 மாணவிகளைத் தெரிவு செய்து அச்செயற்பாட்டை மட்டக்களப்பு உன்னிச்சை பகுதியிலும் முன்னெடுத்து வருகின்றார்.

தேவைப்பாடுடைய மற்றும் வறுமைக்கோட்டின் கீழ் வாழும் மாணவர்களுக்காக கற்றல் உபகரணங்களையும் வழங்கி வைத்தமை குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

அவ்வாறே காரைதீவு பிரதேசத்தில் இயங்கி வரும் எமது காரைதீவு சமுதாயக் கல்லூரியில் மாணவர் எண்ணிக்கையைக் கருத்திற்கொண்டு பயிலுனர்களுக்கான 30 நாற்காலிகளையும் பெற்றுக்கொடுக்க ஆவண செய்தார்.

பின்தங்கிய மற்றும் வளங்கள் குறைந்த பிரதேசமான கரடியனாறு பிரதேசத்தில் கல்வி பயிலும் மாணவர்களுக்கு ஆங்கில அறிவை வழங்கும் பொருட்டு ஆங்கில வகுப்புக்களுக்கான அனுசரணையை வழங்கி வருகின்றார்.

அந்நிலையில் தற்போது அன்னை ஸ்ரீ சாரதா நிலையத்தில் முன்னெடுக்கப்படும் மாணவிகளுக்கான பிரத்தியேக வகுப்புக்களில் முக்கிய பாடங்களுக்கு பயிற்றுவிக்கும் ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு மாதாந்த கொடுப்பனவு வழங்குவதற்கான அனுசரணை மற்றும் எமது மாதிரி கிராமமாகத் தெரிவு செய்யப்பட்ட மாவிலங்கத்துறை கிராமத்தில் நடைமுறைப்படுத்தப்படுகின்ற ஆங்கில வகுப்புக்களுக்கான அனுசரணையும் தற்போது வழங்குகின்றார்.

அவ்வாறு எமது செயற்பாடுகளுக்கு பாரியளவில் தமது பங்களிப்பை வழங்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் அமெரிக்காவைச் சேர்ந்த திரு.எஸ்.லோகேந்திரா அவர்களுக்கு எமது அறக்கட்டளை சார்பில் நன்றிகளையும் நல்வாழ்த்துக்களையும் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கின்றோம்.

A Lasting Commitment to Education and Hope

Through the Vivekananda Community Foundation, we are pleased to acknowledge Mr.S.Logendra of the United States, a long-standing donor who has made significant contributions to various initiatives undertaken by our Foundation as part of the support extended by members of the diaspora community.

From the early days of our Foundation, Mr. S. Logendra has been providing special midday meals to 60 female students studying at the Annai Sri Sarada Centre in Mullaitivu. Subsequently, he also joined our initiative of providing monthly educational incentives to schoolchildren from families living below the poverty line. He provided monthly financial assistance to eight female students studying for their Advanced Level at Annai Sri Sarada Centre until they completed their school education. Thereafter, he selected five more students and has continued this initiative in the Unnichchai area of Batticaloa.

It is also noteworthy that he has provided learning materials to students in need and to those from families living below the poverty line.

Similarly, taking into consideration the number of students attending our Karaithivu Community College in the Karaithivu area, he made arrangements to provide 30 chairs for the students.

In order to provide English-language education to students in the underdeveloped and resource-limited Karadiyanaru area, he has been sponsoring English classes for the benefit of the students there.

At present, he is also providing sponsorship to cover the monthly allowances of teachers who teach the core subjects in the special classes conducted for female students at Annai Sri Sarada Centre. In addition, he is sponsoring the English classes being conducted in Mavilangathurai, which has been selected as one of our model villages.
