அடிப்படைக் கணினித் திட்டத்தின் மதிப்பீட்டிற்கான களவிஜயம்
சிறு வயது முதல் பாடசாலை மாணவர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரும் தமக்குள் அடிப்படைக் கணனி பற்றிய அறிவினை வளர்த்துக் கொள்ளுதல் அத்தியாவசியமானதொன்றாகும். அந்த வகையில் பின்தங்கிய பிரதேசங்களில் வாழும் மற்றும் தேவைப்பாடுடைய மாணவர்களுக்கான கணிணி செயலமர்வுகளை நாம் முன்னெடுத்து வருகின்றோம். அவ்வாறே பின்தங்கிய பிரதேசங்களில் சமுதாயக்கல்லூரிகள் மற்றும் கணினிக்கூடங்களை அமைத்து மனிதநேய நம்பிக்கை நிதியத்தின் அனுசரணையில் விவேகானந்த சமுதாய அறக்கட்டளையின் ஒருங்கிணைப்பினூடாக விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியால் முன்னெடுத்து வருகின்றோம்.
அதனடிப்படையில் வெருகலில் அமைந்துள்ள துவாரகா வித்தியாலத்தில் கல்வி பயிலும் மாணவர்களுக்கான கணிணி வகுப்புகள் கடந்த 3 வருடகாலமாக நடைமுறைப்படுத்தப்பட்டு வரும் நிலையில் பாடசாலையின் மேற்பார்வையைத் தொடர்ந்து மதிப்பீட்டு வகுப்பிற்கான களவிஜயத்தினை எமது நிறைவேற்றுப் பணிப்பாளர் தலைமையிலான குழுவினர் மேற்கொண்டிருந்தனர்.
இதன்போது தரம் 9 மற்றும் 10 ஐச் சேர்ந்த 32 மாணவர்கள் கலந்துகொண்டதோடு தமக்கான மதிப்பீடுகளிலும் கலந்துகொண்டனர். கணினி பாவனையே இல்லாதிருந்த சமுதாயத்தைச்சேர்ந்த இம்மாணவர்கள் அடிப்படைக்கணினி அறிவினைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்வதில் ஆர்வம் காட்டியதோடு மட்டுமல்லாமல் மேலதிகமாக தமது கற்றல் நடவடிக்கைகளுக்கான கணினிகளின் தேவைப்பாடு குறித்தும் கோரிக்கை விடுத்திருந்தமை குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
இதற்காக நன்கொடை உதவிபுரியும் மனித நேய நம்பிக்கை நிதியத்தினருக்கு எமது விவேகானந்த சமுதாய அறக்கட்டளையின் சார்பாக நன்றிகளைத் தெரிவித்துக்கொள்கிறோம்.
Progress Assessment of the Basic Computer Education Programme
It is essential that every school student develops a basic understanding of computers from an early age. With this objective, we have been conducting basic computer training programs for students from underprivileged and underserved communities.
In addition, community colleges and computer laboratories are being established in disadvantaged regions through the coordination of the Vivekananda Community Foundation, with the generous support of the Manitha Neyam Trust, and are implemented by the Vivekananda College of Technology.
As part of this initiative, computer classes have been conducted for the past three years for students of Dwaraka Vidyalayam in Verugal. As a continuation of the school’s monitoring and evaluation process, a field visit was recently carried out by a team led by our Executive Director to assess the students’ progress.
During the visit, 32 students from Grades 9 and 10 participated in the evaluation sessions. These students, who come from a community with little or no prior access to computers, demonstrated great enthusiasm in acquiring basic computer knowledge. They also expressed the need for additional computers to further support their learning and educational activities.
